Scan in Progress

While the scan is running, ADG displays a progress bar to indicate real-time scan progress.

Depending on the environment and configuration, a scan may take minutes to hours. The duration depends on the following factors:

  • Number of exposed corporate credentials for your organization
  • Number of Active Directory accounts being scanned
  • Scan options chosen
    • Check Banned Password List
    • Number of Banned Passwords
    • Check for Fuzzy Matches
    • Check Against All Known Compromised Passwords
    • Audit Shared Passwords
  • Speed of connection and response times for Active Directory
  • Speed of connection and response times for the SpyCloud API
