Advanced | Configuring Banned Passwords List
To configure the Banned Password List, navigate to: Advanced Settings → Banned Passwords in the left-hand navigation.
From the Banned Password List page, you can:
- View the current banned password list
- Add banned passwords
- Import or export a list
- Clear the entire list
➕ Adding Banned Passwords
| Action | How to Do It |
|---|---|
| Add a single password | Enter the password in the text field → click Add Banned Password |
| Add a list of passwords | Click Add List from File → select your file from the system (one password per line, duplicates removed automatically) |
📤 Exporting & Clearing
You can also:
- Export the list → select Export List
- Clear the list → select Clear List to remove all entries
🔎 Notes
- Leading/trailing spaces are automatically removed.
- Duplicate entries are ignored when importing.
- File import format: one password per line.
